The style inside the villa is traditional and timeless. We have kept the tone light and neutral with the fabrics and wallpapers, using darker and warm wood shades to compliment the wooden beams of the historic building. The upholsteries are light and textured and by using darker piping and buttons on the chairs we have created an outline for the aging eye to ensure they can see the form of the chair. We do this by ensuring the Light Reflectance Values are distinct enough that a resident with visual impairments can still recognize the chair. The Library has various types of seating such as large sofas and chairs in a variety of styles in front of the bespoke bookcase, giving residents a quiet corner. Across from this, there is a variety of games and activity tables for more social occasions.
